b1a0tWho Do We Respect?tGeneration Teamthpf2s1c02 Who Do We Respect?
f1c04 by the Generation Team
c03There are some names in our Scene that
have managed to do what most people
can only dream of: to earn the
respect of sceners. We all know who
they are - people and groups of the
past and present. But why do we have
such admiration for these people and
groups?
We (the Gen-collective) thought it
would be "interesting" to explore some
of the reasons in this
article/list...whatever you want to
call it. The explanations we're about
to give may seem obvious to most, but
we still thought it justified to
highlight these guys - just so they
know their outstanding work hasn't
gone unnoticed. So, who do we
respect?
c02 Network
c03We respect Leunam, Nork, Wind and the
whole team as much as the whole
Spanish crews for being able to find
time for coding and scening in a
country that can boast the best
parties, the best beaches, the best
weather and the cheapest alcool of the
whole Europe. We also respect Sanchez
Gallego family for having stand one of
our main-editors, feeding and letting
him playing Tekken 2.
c02 Giants
c03We respect the "huge" crew for having
dared to release the first issue of a
totally new magazine in Anno Domini
1998, showing to the whole Scene there
are still people who care about our
massmedia world. To Wiseguy and his
mates go all our wishes for a good
work.
c02 Fishwave and Rage! Team
c03We respect the work of Fishy and his
Raging mates for having given to us,
as a nice Easter present, the seventh
issue of the well known chartzine. We
can't add anything else but a "keep on
releasing it" and a strong invite to
the Scene to vote, for Rage, but also
for the Eurocharts, Showtime, Phoenix
and, of course, Generation.
c02 Metal Designer and the TIG'98 Staff
c03Last year, The Italian gathering
attracted a handful of Italian Sceners
and even two foreigners in person of
Tassle and RokDaZone (who were on
vacation anway, but that has nothing
to say), who all surely remember a
funny night, disappointing
competitions and a throw out at 4:00
in the morning. Is that reason enough
to continue like before? Not at all
and so our Italian heros do it again
but uder changed conditions. Our
respect for those guys who keep the
real Scenespirit upright in a nation
that features only a miniscene
overall. This is the only way to make
it grow. Participate!
c02 Embassy
c03Out of the realms of time the newly
reinforced Embassy is back - and in
what kind of appetite! Two demos in a
very short time: 'Bangcock' winning
the Motorola Inside and 'dELTA' second
at the Assembly. Both of the stylish
and nicely displayed and the
multilayer effects give the right
hint: Yes, some Embassists have
(repordetly) been involved in the
making of CNCD's 'Killer'.
Congratulations, pals! Stay what you
are and where you are: Active and in
the Scene.
